A fascinating early industrial settlement founded to supply the cotton industry over 200 years ago. Surrounded by lovely countryside, including an industrial Heritage Trail and a Visitor Centre.

Disabled access: Heritage centre is fully accessible and has a separate disabled car parking area, toilets and a lift. Much of the heritage trail is not accessible.
